No pics

O.k. so I didn’t get as much as I wanted done while I was home. After that long on the road, my wife and dogs were just somehow a little more attractive than wire and bamboo. And now I’m in New Jersey again with a trip to Mexico on the wings. I’m thinking I may need to change my animation style to match my lifestyle if I want to stay in this game. I may need to learn to actually draw or something. God forbid….

Back Again

How many of my posts start out with this title? Finally back home after a marathon road trip. 4 weeks out 5 days home. Now it looks like its on and off for the next several weeks including a short tour of Mexico. Strictly business.

Got Nephew’s body on tonight. Arms and legs tomorrow. Clothes are next and they will be a bitch.

adultswim has gotten so boring with reruns recently. Looking forward to the new season of Venture Bros. this Sun. and the long over due season two of 12 oz. Mouse starts in Sept. Honestly I didn’t think they’d renew it, but it’s really the best show they’ve had since Sealab 2021.

Alright. maybe I’ll actually have some pics for tomorrow.

In San Francisco

“garbage and tin, on the road again.”

Still alive. Travelling, this time on the west coast. Lots of ideas, stories, images floating through my head and can’t wait to get back home to work them out. Don Hertzfeldt has finally announced the pre-order of his DVD with all of his work to date. I was one of the first 750 to order it which means I get some cool prize like a post-it note with Don’s sig or a bucket full of gopher guts or sumthin’. YAY! Honestly I can’t wait. I haven’t seen “Meaning of Life” yet and it’ll be worth it just for that.

In the meantime, I love San Fran. it’s a hell of a town. I picked up a little Hotei statue (the fat, happy buddha) for good luck. Other than that I’ve just been leaving the TV off, listening to music and thinking of all the stories I want to work on.
