Set Progress

Here’s the current state of the set and props. I leave for Dallas tomorrow so not much I’ll be able to do next week. The wood trim work still needs to be finished up. You can kinda see the sconce in the bottom right pinned to a cardboard stand. It’s a white christmas tree light wired to a 9V battery in the back, so it actually lights up. The sconce frame is just sculpey and the shade is a piece of white plastic superglued into a cone shape.

Interview, Take Two

So I decided to do a test animation of Uncle. I recorded the audio on Friday. Here’s an mp3 of the audio:

Interview, Take Two audio

I filmed a test of myself and synced the audio to get an idea of how Uncle might move during an interview. Interviews have such little action, so every little amount of movement counts.

Here’s a frame break down of the audio. I used Papagayo to map it out. 2348 frames. Christ. What have I got myself into?
