So it’s been a busy month. I’ve set up an animation group here in Atlanta in association with ASIFA-Atlanta. Our first meeting is November 5th and will hopefully be every first Monday of the month after that. There’s been a lot of interest. I guess we’ll see what happens after the first meeting.

In preparation for it I’ve been trying to finish the test short interviewing Uncle. The lipsync has been the biggest pain. Rather than straight Stopmo I’ve been playing around with compositing in Photoshop and After-Effects. I think it will work out. We’ll see. I’d also like to get some more of the Tooth Queen segment done to see if I can get advice on the timing and walk cycles.

Don’t have much time, but I have been working my ass off. Here’s a shot of the set right now. Mainly I’ve been playing around with some new techniques and tools. A lot of dead ends but a lot of learning.
